Armstrong Light Trap lamp By Constantin Bolimond

The Armstrong Light Trap is one of those creative items to spice up your interior.

Inspired by the surface of the moon, the Armstrong Light Trap lamp creates a more interactive and tactile experience in the way we control light ambience.

The design is essentially a ball housing energy-efficient LEDs and perforated by large holes which vary in size and plugged by correspondingly shaped cork inserts. The light turns on when a cork insert is removed and turn off when the cork is replaced, allowing the user to adjust the brightness of the lamp to their liking by removing more inserts or exploring different configurations to create different ambiences.

The lamp is also able to run off battery power or be plugged into a wall socket.
