When many people think of tattoos, especially ones with traditional imagery, they think of bright, saturated colors. Polish tattoo artist Kamil Czapiga takes a different approach though, creating stunning works in just black ink.
He incorporates pointillist techniques in his designs, creating a unique look that’s almost instantly recognizable as his. The imagery that inspires his designs includes everything from antique prints and folk music to fantasy worlds and fairy tales to Slavic mythology and native spirituality. He also regularly tattoos images of wildlife, often combined with abstract and stylized imagery.
